  GORDON FRICKERS

Gordon, who was born in 1949 in the county of Kent, is now single & lives with his son at Plymouth. Gordon was educated at Maidstone College of Fine Art Medway College and Falmouth Technical College.

He trained at the Montmiral School of Painting (South of France). More recently he has upgraded his skills at Plymouth College of Further Education (internet, web design, ecommerce). He won the Yachting World/Rolex-Swan prize artist (oils) four times, one of many unique achievements. Gordon has a formidable list of distinguished clients as varied as Cunard Line, BT (Marine), Caladonian MacBrayne, Yamaha & many famous individuals.

Rajula

Gordon's maritime experience includes cruise ships, other merchant ships and photo-journalism. He is also a maritime historian of some note.

Gordon is a very experienced racing sailor and youth coach, and has sailed on such varied craft as the world's oldest square rigger, the QE2, J Class yachts and still enjoys racing dinghies.

Gordon is currently developing ecommerce & a commissioned series of painting of the voyage of the French explorer Laperouse plus, as a project, Historic & Picturesque Wine Villages of Bordeaux...
